recipe for disaster

For some reason, when I do a lot of writing, my body craves sweets like you wouldn’t believe.

I am doing a lot of writing right now, and the house is full of Christmas cookies, Christmas candy, etc.

Needless to say, I do not want to step on the scale.

I’m writing right now just like you and I have a method to combat what I like to call “paper weight.” My protip is every hour that you are writing, take a few minutes, stand up and do 10 jumping jacks, 10 squats, and 10 pushups. It gets the blood flowing and it helps you feel loose and only take a minute or two.

  2. Good tip! I don’t think I can actually do 10 pushups, but maybe by the time I defend my dissertation I’ll have worked my way up to that number. :)
