chem geek humor

I’ve mentioned before that my advisor shares lab space with another professor, whom I’ll call Dr. J. Dr. J does a lot of work on metal mobilization in the environment; I seriously considered working for him.

Today, Dr. J has been in the lab a lot more than usual. One of his students (not sure which one) decided to have a bit of fun. Two pieces of labeling tape were used to form a cross, on which was written “Holy Order of Arsenic.” Said student then came up and slapped it on Dr. J’s back.

I wonder how long it will take him to notice?
