not that important?

I posted earlier that I got an award for my ACS presentation and that Dr. Hand-Waver (and all of the other co-authors) received certificates as well.

So, the other day Dr. HW came running into lab with a list of stuff to do…written on the back of her certificate of merit. The cynical part of me says that she didn’t value it that highly…

…but the realistic part says she probably didn’t even realize what she’d written on. She writes on any piece of paper she can find within arm’s reach, so leaving anything on her desk is a risky proposition.

I actually find it kind of amusing.

  1. Oh dear about having written on the back of her certificate of merit. Maybe she did just think that it was a blank peice of paper…and hasn’t realised what she’s written on. I use the back of old envelopes from mail that’s arrived by snail mail to write on and then I’ll recycle them.
