damn it!

As I’ve mentioned before, I have been a big fan of space exploration for 30+ years. Today the space shuttle Endeavor, piggybacked on a 747, made a low-flying pass over NASA Ames/Moffett Field.

My California house was right under the approach path to Moffett Field. I think today is one of the few days I actually regret not staying put. *sigh*

eta: Here’s a great shot taken by my good friend wilmot13, who lived just a couple of miles from me.
